Pairing a legacy Membership ID with a newly created website user account

Overview

When an existing Membership ID holder attempts to update Membership ID information on the new website for the first time, they will be prompted to create a new website user account. The result of the account creation process is that an email will be sent to the user, and this email will contain the following instruction:

If you are an existing Membership ID holder, please forward this email to techsupport@registry.aero along with your Membership ID. We will add your Membership ID to this website account so that you can access the Update Membership ID Information form at http://information.aero/registration/register_reserved.

Adding an Membership ID to a website user account

  1. Log in to the website as a user with "Tech Support" role
  2. Click through User management (on the black admin menu at the top of the page)
