Overview

• When an applicant completes an aero ID form, the applicant must provide credentials which demonstrate their eligibility to hold an aero ID.
• To do so, the applicant select from a list of credentials types, and provides the selected credential.
• Occasionally, a new credential type needs to be added. The Credential Types Administration tool allows SITA editors to do this.

View existing Registrant Groups, Credential Types, and Credential Values

1. Click to Registration > Credential Types Administration.

   

2. This page lists every Credential Type, along with the Registrant Group and Credential Value they are associated with.

Add a new Registrant Group/Credential Type association

1. Click the Add a new Registrant Group/Credential Type association link at the top of the Credential Types Administration page.

   

2. Select the Registrant Group and Credential Type that the new Credential Value will be associated with.
3. Enter a description of the new Credential Value. (Some examples of this description might be "URL", "Assigned numberic code", or "Date Issued")
4. Click the Save button.

Edit or delete a Registrant Group/Credential Type association

1. On the Credential Types Administration page, find and click on the Registrant Group/Credential Type association you want to edit or delete.
2. Click the Edit tab
3. To edit: change the Registrant Group, Credential Type, or Credential Value as desired, then click the Save button.
4. To delete: Click the Delete button at the bottom of the page.
