Overview
The Reserved Name Association function allows SITA to determine whether a domain is on the Reserved Name list.
If a name is not on the Reserved Name list, it can be associated. And conversely, if a name is on the Reserved Name list, it can be dissociated.
Determining whether a domain is on the Reserved Name list
- Click to Registration > Reserved Name Association.
- Enter the domain to be checked in the Domain Check field, and click the Check this domain button.
Associating a Reserved Name
- After checking a domain (as detailed in the section above), you will see an Associate Reserved Name link. If necessary, click on this link to expand the section.
- Enter the ENS Contact ID, and select the appropriate Reason code from the drop-down list.
- Click the Associate Reserved Name button
Disociating a Reserved Name
- After checking a domain (as detailed in the section above), you will see a Dissociate Reserved Name link if the name checked is, in fact, reserved. Click on this link to expand the section.
- Select the ENS Contact ID to dissociate.
