Will registrants and registrars be allowed to transfer a Reserved domain name without requiring a change in their approved Aviation Community Membership ID?

Yes, registrars are to be allowed to transfer Reserved domain names between registrants. In order to do this, the gaining registrant must have an approved Aviation Community Membership ID associated with that specific Reserved domain name.

Will registrants and registrars be allowed to transfer domain names without requiring a change in the associated approved Aviation Community Membership ID?

Yes, registrars are to be allowed to transfer domain names between registrants. In order to do this, the gaining registrant must have an approved Aviation Community Membership ID with the associated registrant class for the transferred domain name, which must be the same as the registrant class, associated with the Membership ID of the losing registrant.  Please note that the following steps would need to be performed with the transfer:

a. Update the Membership ID record associated with the transferred domain

Will the pending create functionality be available for reserved names as well?

No. The pending create feature is not available for reserved names in the .aero registry. You can request a reserved .aero domain name, request Membership ID or modify your existing Membership ID directly through the .aero web site here: http://www.information.aero/registration/manage_your_aero_id
