1. How to Request your Membership ID or the allocation of a reserved name
Go to the page Request a Membership ID and fill in the form

make sure you type your name in the Organization field. The name typed in this field, will be the name of the holder of the Membership ID, therefore it is very important to complete it correctly.
- Credential Type is the proof point we will use to verify your eligibility to register a .aero domain name. Select the appropriate Credential Type from the drop down list, available for this field. It could be your company web site or one of the documents listed for your Registrant Group. In the field Credential Value you will be requested to type your URL address or identify which proof point or document you will be sending to us, that demonstrates you are a member of the aviation community.
- On this page you can also request your 2-letter airline or 3-letter airport codes, or other reserved industry names. Don't use the last field Requested Reserved Names unless you are an airline or an airport, requesting the allocation of a reserved code.
Once you press Submit, you should receive a response within the next 1-2 working days.
