If you wish to change the IP subnets after this form has been submitted, please follow the .aero IP Subnet Change Request process. The specified subnets must conform to the following rules:

How do I test my client application?

During client development, the registrar will have access to the .aero OT&E environment. In the OT&E environment, the registrar may test the operation of their software to verify the correct handling of EPP commands and their responses. Operations performed in the OT&E environment will not be charged and will not have any impact on the Production SRS. Registrars will continue to have access to the OT&E environment after certification so that they may continue to test their software systems.

How does a registrant/registrar submit a pending create request for a .aero domain name?

When a domain create request is submitted with the required aviation community credentials, but without a valid, approved Aviation Community Membership ID, the application will be placed in a pending create status for SITA approval. If SITA approves the application, then the registrant will be provided with the Membership ID, password and the domain name. If SITA denies the application, the registrant will be notified accordingly.

How does SITA control access to the Shared Registry System (SRS)?

Access to the SRS is restricted by three mechanisms:

• Access control to the Production SRS is restricted by IP address filters.

• SSL encryption is required for the communication channels between the registrar's client system and the OT&E and production systems.

• Authentication by means of a username and password is required for session establishment.

How much does it cost to register a .aero domain name?

The minimum domain name registration period is for one year and registration fees are not refundable once your name has been submitted by your chosen registrar to the central registry.
