Step 2 - Business and Legal Process

In Step 2 you are required to complete the business and legal requirements to establish your account with Afilias, the .aero Registry Operator. Step Two can be performed in parallel with Step 3.

Step 3 - Technical Process

In Step 3 - Technical Process, you are required to develop the client application that will interface to the Afilias Shared Registration System. The Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) environment is available for you to test your client system. Afilias requires registrars to demonstrate correct operation of their client application by performing an OT&E certification process.

Step 4 - GO LIVE!

After you have completed the certification process, your account at Afilias will be active, both financially and technically, and a notification will be sent to your contact person(s).

SITA will check if your .aero registration web site is up and running, and all .aero related web content is complete and correct.

Only then, your account will be published by SITA in the list of .aero authorized registrars here.
